What services do you offer?
The whole septic system, start to finish. We install new systems and replace failed ones, pump and clean tanks, repair tanks and baffles, rebuild drain fields, run inspections, and keep systems on a maintenance schedule. We also dig and repair the buried sewer and water lines that serve the house.
Who will actually show up at my house?
The family. Septic Superior is run by Buddy Tomlin and his son, and Buddy has worked septic in Williamson County since 2004. The person you talk to on the phone is the person planning the dig. More than 20 years of local septic work rides along on every job.
How much will my job cost?
Every job gets priced from the site, free. Tank size, soil, depth to rock, and access set the number, so a phone quote would be a guess. We come look, then hand you the price for the whole job. Call (615) 957-9682 and we will set a time.
Do you handle the septic permit?
Yes. Williamson County issues its own septic permits through the county sewage disposal office in Franklin. Most surrounding counties permit through the state at TDEC. We file the paperwork either way, schedule the inspections, and never cover a system before the inspector signs off.
Do you take emergency calls?
Emergency septic service is available when a tank backs up into the house. Call (615) 957-9682 and tell us what the drains are doing and where the water is showing up. We will tell you what to shut off and get a truck headed your way as soon as we can.
How often should my septic tank be pumped?
Most homes need a pump out every 3 to 5 years. Williamson County's own guidance runs every 2 to 5 years. Household size, tank size, and a garbage disposal all move that date. Tell us when your tank was last pumped and we will help you set the next one.
Can you look at a septic system before I buy a house?
Yes. Tennessee does not require a septic inspection when a home sells, so it is on the buyer to ask. We open the tank, measure the layers, check the baffles, and look over the drain field. You get written findings before you close, not a surprise after.
